I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta. I specialize in studying how technological innovations transform work and organizational dynamics.

My research involves conducting deep, longitudinal field studies. My work, ranging from digital market manipulation in cryptotrading communities to the deployment of AI in elite teaching hospitals, has been published in top-tier academic journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly and recognized with awards including the EGOS "That's Interesting!" Paper Award.

Currently, I serve on the Steering Committee for the University of Alberta's AI + Health Hub, and as a Research Partner at Asana's Work Innovation Lab. Having lived and worked in the U.S., Germany, China, Hong Kong, and Canada, I bring an international perspective to understanding technological innovation, and actively advise policymakers and industry leaders on digital transformation.
